Monday, October 03, 2005: I would recommend to listen to the following sound samples using the “Waves and Bars: scope” setting for the graphics on Windows Media Player:

1.    Three subsequent sinusoidal tones at 300 Hz, 400 Hz, and 500 Hz

2.    Three sequences of increasingly long wave trains of 300 Hz, 400 Hz, 500 Hz sinusoidal shape (Mathematica notebook)
