Anth 3206: Ecological Anthropology

Ecological Anthropology brings together information from archaeology, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology to explore the relationship between humans and our environment. How have we shaped the environment in the past? How has the environment shaped us? What are the social and economic implications of environmental degradation? What are the social and economic problems we face when trying to protect our natural environment? This seminar will approach environmental issues from a human ecology perspective.
