Research Resources

Active involvement in research, artistic performance, and other forms of scholarship is an important part of the undergraduate experience.  There are numerous opportunities for students to contribute and participate in this process at UMM, within the larger university, and beyond our borders.

This web page provides information and links for various resources and opportunities that are available for students and faculty at UMM.  (For information about opportunities within a particular field, consult with faculty or professional organizations within that field.)


Research Resources: Including library links for starting research, the University's Human Subjects Committee (IRB) page, summer research programs, and other links useful for beginning the research process.

FundingUniversity and other sources for student research funding (e.g., UROP, MAP), including awards for student travel (e.g., the Bos and Tate funds).
